Semi-GlossSatin, our most requested

Brings out pattern and colour with a soft satin sheen that hides dust and tire marks better than gloss. The default recommendation for stamped and decorative surfaces.

  • Stamped and decorative patios
  • Front walkways and porches
  • Driveways with coloured borders

Anti-slip additive

Any sheen, more grip.

A fine, clear grit mixed into the sealer gives wet concrete traction without changing the look. Standard around pools and on steps, optional anywhere else.

  • Pool decks and hot tub surrounds
  • Front steps and porches
  • Sloped walkways and driveways
  • Garage aprons that see snowmelt

Which finish should I choose: high gloss, semi-gloss or matte?

Semi-gloss is our most requested for stamped and decorative concrete. High gloss gives the wet look and the deepest colour. Matte keeps broom-finish, exposed aggregate and garage floors natural. All three use the same sealer, and we bring samples to the inspection.

Will a sealed surface be slippery?

Gloss can be when wet on smooth concrete. We add an anti-slip additive to any sheen, and it is standard around pools and on steps.

Can you seal concrete that was sealed before?

Yes. We check the old coating first. If it is sound and compatible we bond to it; if it is peeling or the wrong type we strip it so the new coat does not fail.

When is the best time to seal?

Late spring through fall, when the slab is dry and temperatures sit roughly between 10 and 30°C. Fall bookings before the first salt are the most popular.
